Suzuki Wagon R 2019 Price in Pakistan
Wagon R a well known name for Pakistani’s after Mehran because now days the most seen vehicle on roads is Wagon R. When this vehicle was first introduced in Pakistan its price was dropped as people were rejecting this vehicle but Suzuki should thank Cream & Uber that gave this vehicle a massive success in Pakistan. Biggest reason for its success was fuel economy and we all are agrees on this otherwise there is a better car FAW V2 in same price. After enjoying massive success of wagon R Suzuki now made a plan to introduce 7 seater wagon R in Pakistan. Suzuki company is well aware that Pakistani community is now preferring Wagon R over Mehran that is why company is going to make this a 7 seater family car. Only few changes have been made to its design, Size & engine.
Karachi: Pak Suzuki, one of the leading automobile manufacturers confirmed an update for the Suzuki Wagon R 2019. It would be a minor update and the new VXL model will come with little changes. Although changes are minor, the price of new Suzuki Wagon R is not cheaper as it will cost PKR 50,000 more than the earlier price.
A few months back, Pak Suzuki ceased new bookings for Suzuki Wagon R but, it is also taking continuous orders from March 2019. The new update is also leaked around a month ago and now it is officially confirmed by the company officials.
According to sources, Pak Suzuki will just do two minor changes in the current model. These changes would be chromed tail garnish and alloy wheels. It seems visible that they are just the minor changes and company is overcharging for these features. However, the new price will be Rs. 11,64,000 which will be higher than the current price of 11,14,000.
Key players from automobile industry are also defending the rise in prices. They are considering the devaluation of Pakistani Rupee and increased import rates as a primary reason for their decision.
Engine:
This new 7 seater Wagon R is loaded with 1.2 liter engine that produces 75 horse power with 115 Nm @3500 Rpm peak torque. Transmission of vehicle is same 5 speeds manual only engine capacity has been changed from 1000 cc to 1197 cc. With 1.2 liter engine capacity this vehicle is expected to give 24-26 kilometer per liter fuel economy.Design:
There are no changes on its front & side profile only overall length & Rear side of vehicle has changed only because of increased seating capacity. Automobile assemblers and manufacturers in Pakistan have significantly increased their prices in 2019. Pak Suzuki has already raised the prices of its entire lineup twice in the year. Suzuki Wagon R’s annual sales seen a huge 82% increase in 2017.
